Clovis Shredfest Event

Whitney Kelley
Pathways Advisory Group

The Clovis Police department and City of Clovis are putting on a FREE community shredding event for Clovis residents on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 9:00AM to 2:00PM (or until the trucks are full).  The event will be located in the southwest parking lot of Sierra Vista Mall (by the old movie theater near Clovis Ave and Santa Ana).  Each person is allowed to bring 6-8 bankers boxes of documents to shred.

This has been a well-organized event in past years and is a great opportunity for you to safely dispose of your personal documents, at no cost.  They will also have Clovis Police and other community partners out there for you to meet if you wish.  So, if you have old documents lying around the house, take advantage of this free community event to protect your personal information and get a head start on your Spring cleaning!

Tax Time is Here, and Your 1099s Will Soon Be Too!

We have been informed that Schwab will begin mailing 1099s throughout the month of February.  Schwab extended their mailing date into February to reduce the number of corrected 1099's. However, corrections are still a possibility, in which case a corrected 1099 may be mailed as late as February 28th. The forms will also become available online through your Schwab login. Click here for more information on Schwab's mailing schedule, and please give our office a call if you have any questions.

Good luck with your taxes, and happy filing!
